Victoria Monet is an underrated superstar and she is a big deal! Can we say BIG FRIGGIN DEAL?! Victoria is in a class of her own! As a QUADRUPLE threat, she writes, produces, sings and dances. 




You'll know when this lady is speaking as she has a signature soft-spoken speaking voice that beckons all who listens.  The first record I had ever heard from Monet was a blissful R&B track from her 'Nightmares and Lullabies' album that was uploaded to Soundcloud sometime around 2012 and it's been musical love ever since! Victoria Monet is the songstress-writer who's written for heavy hitters like Ariana Grande (Thank U, Next, 7 Rings), Brandy Norwood (Rather be), Nas (You Wouldn't Understand) and Diddy. When speaking to Variety about the mood in the room the night the chart topping song was written, she said: 

“It was a big mix of emotions, a lot of things were happening. [For one, she was still healing. Two, she was trying to express and heal through music — but surrounded by friends and a bunch of champagne."

the atmosphere was therapeutic and celebratory for Ariana, Victoria and their group of friends.




aS A GRAMMY NOMINATED artist, Victoria has come a long way from her poetry writing days which would later propel her into a songwriting career. although Victoria didn't attend a formal music school,  she has stated that she's gained experience and lessons via the game of life and trial and error.  She's also gained experience BY observing and collaborating with others.  




Victoria Monet released her latest musical effort entitled "jaguar." if you haven't purchased or streamed this album you are missing out on top notch  music. the music ON THIS ALBUM has a GROOVING 70s vibe  along with a mixture of classic r&b AND A LITTLE BIT OF POP. Monet truly shows off her lyrical prowess on this album and every track is a sultry sexy bop! SHE has  a way with melodies and she deserves a place among the artists of artists....TALKING STEVIE WONDER, Beyonce,  prince level!   SHE'S JUST THAT GREAT!

Halle Bailey Cohosts and Performs for Motown Christmas Special

Natural style star, Halle Bailey, performed musical hits by Diana Ross and the Supremes for NBC's Motown Christmas Special.  Halle brought the house down in a gorgeous golden fitted gown with two other female singers.  The group appeared as the Supremes for a Motown Christmas special which originally aired on December 11th on NBC.  The young ladies  belted out classic hits such as, "Stop in the Name of Love," "Baby Love" and "You Keep Me Hanging On."
